Patterns with fall leaves

Working with patterns is a great way to increase your child's math skills, patterns are all around us in our clothes, in nature and all around us. Identifying and creating patterns is just the beginning of the mastery of life-long math skills. I was going through some of my old preschool stuff and came across a pattern and decided to make on for H then I starting pointing out patterns to H in the car and in the stores. In just a couple of days she is really catching on and becoming interested and pointing them out to me and my husband. It is so amazing to see how fast they learn
